About the Item
The most perfectly faded mid 19th century, country house Queen Anne revival lovers settee.
Upholsted in an unusual muted pink and purple batik wax resist fabric, with metallic fringing on carved cabriole legs united by connecting turned stretchers.
The fabric has wear consistence with use and age, mainly around its extremities. The frame is solid, the springs and webbing are sound.
Likely to be English possibly French in origins.
