About the Item
Magnificent pair of matching benches or small settees made in the French Louis XVI neoclassical taste . Beautifully carved green painted frames decorated with a neoclassical motif vine form and rosettes. The benches are supported by column style legs and the pair have new cream upholstery on the front and back. The small arms and crest have a molded design. These bespoke benches are highly decorative with lovely detailing throughout with rosette, garland and gilt decoration. These lovely benches would provide seating by a fireplace, in a bedroom or lovely in an entry as accent seating. Ready to use as is or with your choice of new upholstery.
