17th Century French Provincial Louis XIII period needlepoint & walnut side chair Unusual 17th century French Provincial Louis XIII period side chair made of richly patinated Circassian walnut with a deep lustrous color. Intricate carved decoration with shaped stretchers and scrolled feet and beautiful period needlework upholstery with large brass nailhead decoration. Needlework portrays angels and doves. Predominate colors are red and brown. Provence, circa 1670. Measures: 41.5” H 19.5” W 19” D.
