These chairs are part of a suite, I have the matching window curved back sofa listed under my other items and a pair of leather seat base armchairs as well
These are the finest example of this type of work I have come across, the chairs have double bergère or rattan meaning that for some reason, the craftsman has taken the time to weave both sides of the back rest, it takes days sometimes to do one seat of one chair so these are clearly a no expensive spared commission
In terms of the condition we have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, there are good honest signs of patina
