About the Item

Handsome pair of Bauhaus or Art Deco style bistro side chairs with level back and arms by Loewenstein-Oggo. They are in wonderful vintage condition. The blue-gray fabric is in excellent shape. The wood frame is in great shape but does have a few little nicks and dings as you would expect for age but nothing outstanding. Please see photos, circa 1980s-1990s. Note: The moiré effect in the photos is not actually there in the fabric. See close-up of fabric. Sometimes you just need a pair of little extra chairs. Easy to move about and handsome. This pair of bistro side chairs by Loewenstein-Oggo fit that bill. We can’t decide whether to say these are Bauhaus style or Art Deco style chairs. They have characteristics of both. So, we will let you decide. Comprised of a dark wood frame with a rounded barrel back that is level with its arms. And, upholstered in a blue-gray rather ribbed textured fabric. They are in wonderful ready to use condition. They don’t come with a pedigree but are very nicely styled and built with high quality standards. A nice pair of go anywhere chairs that will blend with many design styles. You should make them yours.
