Lovely vintage Bauhaus style made in Italy after Thonet chrome frame with wood & cane seat bistro or café chairs, a pair. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The wood ring on one of the chair seats was split in the back and has been repaired. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, 1970’s. Isn’t this a charming pair of chairs? We sure think so! This is a wonderful pair of Italian bistro or café chairs in the style of Thonet comprised of lovely chrome frames with bent & sculpted backs, straight round legs slightly flared, and a round chrome stretcher under the fabulous natural toned cane seats. They are marked “Made in Italy,” and their style is Bauhaus yet kind of Art Deco, a little Modern Country, a bit Industrial… they can blend in with SO many styles of décor! They will be marvelous at a breakfast nook, at a low bar, in a bedroom dressing area, or at a table in the sunroom. Sometimes you just need a simple little pair of chairs. You know?
