About the Item
Early 20th c., a pair of Louis XV Style chairs with open shield-form back topped with carved rose crest, over an upholstered seat raised on channeled cabriole front legs ending in an acanthus foot. The figured maple creates a lightness to the overall look of these chairs as does the open shield form back and the subtle Fortuny upholstery fabric.

Condition:
Good, a clean wood surface with warm patina, and light even wear to the upholstery.
