This would have been used in a library or study for literary conversation, this one has a French look and feel to it, it is very elegant and the lines are sublime, also I think it is the first one I have seen that is full size, usually these are much lower to the ground Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished the frame from top to bottom, there will be age and use related patina marks here and there, nothing you wouldn’t expect from a used piece of furniture, the upholstery is well worn and has some marks, it could do with being replaced which is what most people do Dimensions Height:- 86.5cm Width:- 161cm Depth:- 161cm Seat height:- 42cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
