Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of George Smith Somerville Mohair Velvet Chesterfield tufted sofas RRP £30,130 Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote, please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price. These sofas are part of a suite, I have listed under my other items one armchair with a run up footstool These sofas are absolutely stunning, they are super elegant and being upholstered is Mohair Velvet they are as comfortable as they come. The upholstery is super thick and luxurious, its like sitting on silk but with a much thicker weave The chair frames alone currently retail for £9,540 each without upholstery, the mohair velvet is £325 per sq-mt, each sofa required 17 meters of fabric at a cost of £5,525 so the finished cost per sofa is £15,065 making a combined total of £30,130 for the pair The colour is grey, it looks different shades in different pictures depending on how the flash captures the mohair velvet, as you will be aware velvet has two tones and is a different colour depending on which angle you are looking at it Condition wise the pair are in very fine order indeed, the matching armchair and ottoman which is listed under my other items was used the most, the pair of sofas here seem to be perfect, there is one slightly lighter patch on the inside of the left arm on the second sofa which could be from someone sitting there, otherwise they look sublime Dimensions Height:- 87.5cm Width:- 198cm and 201cm Depth:- 92cm Seat Height:- 45cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
