The kitchen counter stools are part of & New’s color play dining room collection, which consists of dining tables, benches, stools, and cabinets made in Britain by local craftsmen.
The design of the collection was driven by function and the minimal & new aesthetic. There is a considered color wave running through the furniture, combining pastels and bright colors, creating a vibrant and exciting dining room set. The tall stools are available in 91 different color combinations; Fifteen powder-coated colors for the steel frames and seven colors for the lacquered wooden tops. The pricing in this listing is for one set of 4 in matching colors.
The seats are made with food-safe lacquered plywood. The paint is skillfully applied onto a color-matched undercoat leaving the grain of the birch plywood on show. Therefore, every single seat is beautifully different depending on the grain and character of the plywood underneath. The paint has an elegant satin finish, with a hint of gloss. The playful and functional design looks great in a modern kitchen.
