Central European Painted Blanket Chest

About the Item

This Central European painted blanket chest has the original shaped rat tail hinges inside the lid. The top has a natural pine finish. The front has two square painted panels and the original steel escutcheon plate. The sides are painted with quarter cornered square panels. There is exposed dovetailed construction all the way around. There is a 1/4-inch shrinkage separation in the top.
