1930s French Modernist Oak Bookcase

About the Item

A slim modernist Art Deco bookcase constructed from richly patinated oak. Featuring four open shelves and single cupboard compartment, sitting on a recessed blackened plinth base. The cupboard retains its original chromed bronze door pull and opens to reveal two clear glass shelves within. In the manner of Jacques Adnet. Note: Age commensurate wear, historic cosmetic repair to plinth base as photographed, does not detract.
