Solid mahogany bookcase designed by Christian Hvidt and published by Søborg Møbler in the 1970s. The design is sober and functional, highlighting the natural beauty of the wood, the precision of the assemblies and the exceptional quality of manufacture. The furniture manufacturer Søborg Møbelfabrik was founded in 1890 by cabinetmaker Jacob E. Jacobsen. Specialising in the production of high-quality furniture true to the Danish design tradition, Søborg Møbelfabrik, run generation after generation by the Jacobsen family, has worked with the most beloved mid-century furniture designers.
