Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely exquisite, Museum quality, extra large open display bookcase with Straw Marquetry which was custom made to order with Jallu in France for €52,355 complete with a full sales invoice

Where top begin! Should I talk about the size, the quality, I just don't know! Ok, here goes! This was custom made to order by a very well known and extremely talented interior designer in London, the piece was hand made by Jallu in France and its the only one of its kind in the world, it has Straw Marquetry panels which look like a sunburst, the cabinet is monumentally large and heavy, luckily its been custom made so it dismantles as you can see in the last picture
The cabinet has a hardwood frame with satinwood internals, the cupboards all have solid brass fittings and working locks and keys, I can emphasize enough just what immense quality this piece is
I bought this piece with a view to having a second one made, as such I approached Jallu to find out the cost as we needed a pair for our project, as such I have a complete suite of the invoice paperwork available which I will happily include with the same, it details the description and price which totals €52,355
In terms of the condition, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there may be some normal age and use related patina marks here and there, mostly its in fine order
Please note this piece will be shipped dismantled to keep the transport cost down for you and because its impossible to carry when fully assembled, depending on who delivers it the courier may be able to rebuild it for you at a cost, please ask any questions you have prior to bidding and not after

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
