It is rare to find an original painted bookcase of this quality, making this a special find. The original painted finish adds both grace and grandeur to this striking display cabinet from Italy. Muted colors of cream, ocher, blue and green add depth and character in the hand-painted flourishes. Notice the dentil molding along the crown that adds a captivating effect as well. Details such as these have been replicated for generations, to find an original such as this in good condition is unusual. Any nicks, scrapes, cracks and/or minor missing pieces are age related and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this stately bookcase. This display cabinet is sold in as is condition as we found it in Europe, and is solid/stable and ready to use and enjoy. It is built in 2 sections (upper and lower) to make transportation and installation easier.
