French Country Large Display Cabinet Bookcase Painted White, circa 1900

About the Item

French country large display cabinet or bookcase in two sections. Oak wood later professionally painted in layers of white and light grey with softly distressed finish fitting the age and grace of this stately cabinet. Enlarge photos to appreciate the delicate carving that accents the columns and panel doors. Upper section with carved cornice and four glass doors. Mid-raised backsplash section with decorative turned spindles and paneled back allows it to be used as a buffet. The lower section has three drawers over four cabinet door configuration. Restored, keys function as pulls only. Bottom Sideboard Height 35.5" Any scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely piece.
