1920’s French Industrial Metal Cabinet Dark Green – Twenty Seven Klappets.
Beautifully made very heavy weight sheet metal filing cabinet, with twenty seven hinged ‘klappet’ compartments. The compartments are the perfect size for A4 documents storage, the front panel simply pulls down with a light pull and clicks back into location. The cabinet was originally from the offices of a large French company where they were used for document storage. This cabinet has been overpainted in a rich original military green, the original bronze finish can be seen inside the compartments. The most stunning feature of the cabinet is the complete set of original hardware, nameplates, pull handles and the enamel numbers. Reminiscent of Strafor but not marked in any way. Internal Compartment Dimensions: L37 x W28 x H20 cm.
