A rare and charming Antique Georgian Mahogany and Brass Wine Cooler, dating from around 1800. This elegant piece features classic Georgian proportions, rich colouration, and a beautifully developed patina, making it a versatile addition as either a wine cooler or log basket in both period and contemporary interiors. The construction is solid and stable, showcasing an attractive swept leg design with no loose joints or woodworm.
Craftsmanship & Condition:
Expertly crafted from solid mahogany with detailed brass accents, this stand is strong, sturdy, and built to last. It displays lovely aged tones, authentic period character, and the refined design typical of Georgian furniture. A maker’s mark is stamped underneath, adding to its provenance.
