About the Item

Bonheur du jour or ladies' desk in mahogany with floral mahogany and satinwood. Beautiful warm lived-in color. The base cabinet with a large door containing an arched panel and a wide drawer containing a red with gold-edged writing surface. The writing surface can be tilted. When the writing tray is pulled out, a workplace is created There is another secret drawer in the plinth. Origin: Netherlands / early Biedermeier Period: Approx. 1830 Size: 86cm x 49cm x h.157cm
