Circa 1780-1800 English George III Corner Cabinet

About the Item

Circa 1780-1800 George III corner cabinet, English. Mahogany. A handsome example with reeded astragal diamond glazed upper doors & flat paneled lower doors. Well figured flame mahogany veneers used to great visual effect. Velvet lined interior upper section with 3 shaped shelves (one shelf in lower section). Repetitive reeded molding accents. Well molded concave & convex crown. Raised on bracket feet. Fine brass escutcheons. Old crown molding repairs at return sections. Minor veneer patches & molding restoration commensurate with age & use. 2-part construction allows it to be easily moved and delivered. 32 1/8" on wall at crown molding. 79.5" h., 47" w., 25 3/8" d.
