Important Macassar Ebony Mother of Pearl Glass Shelf Cupboard Cabinet Shelves

About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this absolutely stunning very, rare and important, Macassar Ebony cabinet with mother of pearl door panels and glazed shelves with mirrored back and side panels I have never seen another piece like this before, it is exceptional, the frame has a macassar ebony finish, the internals are flully glazed and mirrored, the second you open the doors they are flooded with light. The doors have thousands of mother of pearl squares making up two huge panels Condition wise, due to the weight which is monumental, the piece has some chips marks and scratches around the base, there is a small piece of veneer missing on the very back of the left side (not the front) there are some other patina marks to the doors and so on, we have cleaned waxed and polished it, it is in very nice order Dimensions Height:- 172cm Width:- 144cm Depth:- 52cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
