About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this absolutely stunning very, rare and important, Macassar Ebony cabinet with mother of pearl door panels and glazed shelves with mirrored back and side panels
I have never seen another piece like this before, it is exceptional, the frame has a macassar ebony finish, the internals are flully glazed and mirrored, the second you open the doors they are flooded with light. The doors have thousands of mother of pearl squares making up two huge panels
Condition wise, due to the weight which is monumental, the piece has some chips marks and scratches around the base, there is a small piece of veneer missing on the very back of the left side (not the front) there are some other patina marks to the doors and so on, we have cleaned waxed and polished it, it is in very nice order
