Large Scale Tiered Cabinet with Grille Work
About the Item
A Magnificent and Intricately wrought Iron Grille Vitrine Cabinet. A large scale two tiered mahogany and grille work cabinet originally purchased in Montecito, California. With a mahogany top with cavetto cornice, a mid level mahogany shelf and a mahogany base with bun feet. The two tiers are made of gray textured metal grille work double doors with Greek key bands on the tops and intricate foliate scrolled decoration on the front and sides. The backs with mirror panels. With two hick glass shelves.
Measures: L. 48", depth 25", H. 90 1/2"
Condition: There are some scrapes to the cornice and feet, stable cracks on the mid level mahogany frame edge on the right, some verdigris patina on the metal which do not detract from the incredible presentation.
