Early 20th century Chinese lacquered wood armoire with hand-carved gilt panels, doors and drawers. Created in the early years of the 20th century, this Chinese armoire features a linear silhouette accented by a natural wood patina. Two small doors in the upper section are adorned with four exquisite gilded scholar scenes panels protected behind glass.
