About the Item

Hand-crafted in Spain in the early 1940s, this sculptural bar cabinet epitomises Brutalist design. Thick planks of solid oak are relief-carved in an irregular, geometric pattern that gives the front a striking three-dimensional presence. Patinated wrought-iron locks and bolts punctuate the warm timber, adding a subtle industrial edge and underscoring the cabinet’s artisanal character. Behind the twin doors you’ll find generous storage for bottles, glassware or household essentials, making the piece very practical. The mellow oak grain shifts between honey and brown tones, allowing the cabinet to sit comfortably in rustic or eclectic interiors. The cabinet remains in very good original condition with only light, age-appropriate wear. Recently acquired from the first owner, it needs no restoration.
