Very Early European Oak Standing Cabinet

About the Item

Possibly 16th or 17th Century Carved Oak Standing Cabinet with primitive and rustic all over hand carved decoration. Both doors, with locks, a key and escutcheons open to reveal a single fixed shelf and there is a single drawer, also with a lock and heavy iron pull. Very solid feeling with great weight. The top apron with dentil moulding is removable. Key included. The Cabinet measures 33” wide by 24.5” deep by 77.5” high. Condition: Please see detail photos. The overall condition is good with various age related wear including some slight wood losses and some time softened nicks as well as a few stable age cracks, all mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is Primitive and very dynamic.
