A Fine George III Serpentine Chest

About the Item

An Elegantly proportioned and fine Antique Serpentine Chest with contrasting wood in lighter and darker tones between the frame and drawers. The four Lie-Inlaid drawers with handsome grain, dove-tail construction, an Oak center support bar and intricate Hexagonal ring pulls in Foliate motif. early 19th Century. Lacking a key. The Chest measures 38.25” wide by 18.85” deep by 36” high. Condition: The overall condition is very good with various acceptable age-related wear including some light scratches and old marks to the top which do not detract from the striking and fine presentation.
