Exceptional Antique George III Chest-On-Chest
About the Item
An impressive and very well made Antique English Georgian Chest-On-Chest with fine traditional form and handsome chosen wood. The Chest is large and has sizable Brass Batwing pulls and Key Escutcheons, canted and fluted front corners, Dentil Moulding trim and fine Dovetail drawer construction. Lacking a Key.
The Chest measures 44.25” wide by 21.5” deep by 71.75” high.
Condition: The overall condition is very good with various acceptable signs of age including a few spots of missing trim on the dentil moulding, a few timeworn spots of missing veneer and a few nicks and rubs which do not detract from the great and stately presentation.
