About the Item
An Elegantly proportioned and fine Antique Serpentine Chest with contrasting wood in lighter and darker tones between the frame and drawers. The four Lie-Inlaid drawers with handsome grain, dove-tail construction, an Oak center support bar and intricate Hexagonal ring pulls in Foliate motif. early 19th Century. Lacking a key.
The Chest measures 38.25” wide by 18.85” deep by 36” high.
Condition: The overall condition is very good with various acceptable age-related wear including some light scratches and old marks to the top which do not detract from the striking and fine presentation.
