George III Chippendale Period Serpentine Chest

About the Item

A fine George III Chippendale period serpentine chest in figured mahogany of an original colour and patina. Good features include the brushing slide, canted corners with blind fret and the original carrying handles. The old rococo swan neck handles appear to have been with the chest a long time but are not in fact original.
