A Very Good Quality Late 18th Century, Georgian, Mahogany Chest, Of Elegant Serpentine Form, Having Well Figured Shaped Top Over Brushing Slide And Four Long Drawers, Retaining Original Brass Swan Neck Handles And Raised On Original Shaped Bracket Feet. An extremely good quality and elegant georgian mahogany seprentine chest, which boasts a good, bold serpentine shape. It is also constructed from good quality mahogany timbers and has real presence to it. Quite unusually for an item from this period it retains original brass swan neck handles as well as its original shaped bracket feet, both of which are really great features. Overall the condition is also good, one would imagine a result of many years of being cherished and loved and looked after. The overall quality of the construction, in combination with the elegant, attractive form mean that this chest is absolutely perfect for a whole host of spaces around the home, or even office.
