About the Item

This antique cabinet was crafted in the Early Showa Period (1926–). It is constructed primarily from Japanese cypress (Hinoki), with drawer fronts made from Japanese Sen wood, creating a gentle contrast between the soft-toned frame and the light-colored drawer faces. The upper section features glass sliding doors for display storage, while the lower section is equipped with multiple drawers—offering both visual appeal and practical functionality. The clean, linear form and well-balanced proportions reflect a distinctly Japanese aesthetic, while the aged texture of the wood adds warmth and depth over time. The cabinet is composed of an upper and lower section, which can be used either stacked or placed side by side, depending on your space. Cleaned and disinfected with a non-toxic solution. The doors and drawers move smoothly. As an antique piece, minor scratches and marks may be present, each adding to its unique charm and the story it tells over time. It has been carefully inspected and remains in excellent antique condition, with natural signs of age that enhance its character. When used side by side rather than stacked, each section measures: W32.3" × D12.2" × H33.7" (82 cm × 31 cm × 85.5 cm). Weight :80.5lbs(36.5kg) Shipping Information We ship from Japan.
