A pair of French Louis XV-style two drawer chests. The lacquered body with incised chinoiserie decoration depicting figures in a landscape with architectural follies and distant mountains. The corners and front legs with finely chased bronze mounts and escutcheons. The marble on top in breach violette. Secondary wood is oak, dovetailed drawers.

We have had these recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age. There is just some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
