About the Item
This exceptional vintage mid century Danish modern teak corner bar cabinet by Gunni Omann for Omann Jun (attr.) was made in Denmark circa 1960. The classic Scandinavian design has clean, elegant lines and is well-crafted from teak wood with beautiful natural grain. The upper cabinet features two doors that open on a mirror-backed storage compartment with one interior shelf. The lower cabinet has a flat surface over three stacked, dovetailed drawers. All doors and drawers feature distinctive sculpted wood handle pulls. Original working key locks upper doors. The cabinet is supported on tapered, cigar-shaped legs which unscrew for easier transport. This beautiful cabinet is both versatile and space-saving with a design that offers maximum storage while using minimal floor space. Use as a bar cabinet, china cabinet, storage cupboard, bar cabinet, etc.
CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Original working brass cabinet key included. Bottom drawer handle pull has had a professional repair most noticeable on close inspection.
