About the Item
This stunning sideboard is a refined example of 1970s-80s Italian design, created by Luigi Saccardo for Gasparello.
Part of the renowned "Seven" collection, the piece is distinguished by its soft, sinuous lines, offering a perfect balance between elegance and functionality.
Crafted in luxurious burled maple (also known as bird's-eye maple) with a high-gloss finish, the wood reflects light and beautifully highlights its natural grain, adding warmth and sophistication to the entire structure.
The elongated form, solid proportions, and curved corners convey both strength and a welcoming presence. The projecting handles, made from circular wooden shapes integrated into the cabinet doors, enhance the minimalist character while maintaining visual interest.
The interior compartments are fully veneered in the same burled maple, offering generous storage space - making this sideboard not only a highly decorative object, but also a functional storage solution.
Its soft edges and smooth lacquered surface give it a harmonious presence, perfect for both modern and vintage interiors.
Please note: This item is in a very good vintage condition. Minor signs of age may be present but do not affect its functionality. We kindly ask you to consider these characteristics prior to purchase.

Rare Italian Mid Century Bed Frame by Luigi Saccardo for Gasparello, 1970s
By Gasparello Arredamento Contemporaneo, Luigi Saccardo
Located in Conversano, IT
Elegant bed, model "Seven," in burled maple veneer, designed by Luigi Saccardo for Gasparello in the late 1970s.
This piece is a refined example of Italian vintage design, combining clean lines, luxurious finishes, and a distinct architectural presence.
The structure is crafted in brown-stained burled maple veneer, finished with a high-gloss lacquer that enhances the natural wood grain, lending a sophisticated and elegant look.
The headboard features an extended lateral profile with integrated floating nightstands, each with black hidden drawers and functional surfaces, creating a balanced and cohesive design.
Soft rounded corners and edges soften the otherwise geometric form, while the bed frame is bold yet well-proportioned, outlining the mattress area with elegance and strength.
This piece accommodates a standard European mattress (160 × 190 cm).
Perfect for interiors with a retro, modernist, or contemporary aesthetic, thanks to its timeless design language and premium craftsmanship.
Extremely rare and currently one-of-a-kind on the market.
