Demilune French Art Deco Cerused Oak and Nickeled Bronze Mounted Desk
About the Item
A French modern cerused oak demilune desk with nickeled bronze linear hardware details decorating three sides, raised on inset plinth. Architectural and streamline, this kneehole design features a central drawer and four drawers on the left side with a swivel door atop two drawers on the right side.
Limed Bismark red, bleached cranberry, deep wine colored oxblood with white grain striations.
Due to the demilune shape, the measurements range from 43" wide at the shorter back end where you sit to a max of 57 "at the front end.
A few small chips in the veneer, some blotches of staining on the top surface commensurate with age and use, in as is vintage condition as shown in photos.
