French Art Deco Rosewood Desk and Bookcase
About the Item
French Art Deco Rosewood desk and bookcase ,in two-piece.
The tiered bookcase with six half-moon shelves to the left and bronze-mounted convex door revealing interior storage. The right side with a single right corner shelf, and two bronze-mounted twin doors with an additional shelf below.
The second-piece, a desk with gallery top and inset leather top (unrestored at this time). The desk is finished on all sides. Three bronze-mounted cube drawers to the left, and a bronze-mounted cabinet to the right with three additional shelves.
Specific measurements:
The tiered bookcase measures 62 inches wide x 17 inches deep and 60 inches high to the top of the left 12 inches x 55 inches high rounded door cabinet, to the left of cabinet are six half-moon shelves that are 14" D x10 W x 9.75" H. The right side of the cabinet has an alcove shelf of 29.5 x 10.5 H 13.5" D bottom top shelf is 11 inches deep, the lower part is fitted with two bronze mounted 18 inch wide x 26 inches high doors, with a lower bottom shelf 36" x 10.75 H" x 10" D
The desk measures 60" desk x 25" D x 29.5" desk height /33" high to the top of the gallery. To the left there are three bronze mounted 6 3/4" square drawers.
The opening of the desk measures 27.5 inches wide x 25.5 inches high, to the right there is a 15" bronze-mounted 15" door with shelved interior and three 8" D x8.5" W shelves ( two with 8.75" high).
