French Louis XVI Style Diminutive Ebonized Writing Table
About the Item
Dramatic French diminutive ladies writing table or desk featuring a black lacquer ebonized finish. Made in the neoclassical Louis XVI taste with a simple clean design and minimal decorative embellishments. The case has an ogee edge on the top and is fronted by a large storage drawer. The corners are decorated with large rosettes. Supported by long, elegant turned legs. The table has a very distinctive profile matched with a dark lacquer finish with an aged patina and a desirable amount of wear. Constructed from fruitwood with the sides measuring 23 inches from the floor to the apron.
