19th Century French Louis XVI Style Demilune Flip-Top Game Table
About the Item
Fine 19th century flip topgames table, card table, dining table, or console table featuring a demilune form. Crafted from radiant grain mahogany having bronze mounts on the frieze and legs. The top opens to 48 inches round with a single drawer storage supported by one leg. The frieze is decorated with beadwork in bronze. Made in the grand French Louis XVI taste or Regency style. The console is supported by four elegant tapered legs ending with casters. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship from an estate in San Francisco, CA. Could also serve as a tea or dining table.
