This is a beautiful compact vintage bureau cabinet from the 1960s. Ideal as a compact desk or a workstation. The Mid-century modern cabinet was designed by Robert Heritage as part of the Multi-Width series for Beaver and Tapley. Beaver and Tapley was a mid-century British furniture manufacturing company known for its high-quality furniture pieces.
The bureaux is made in a lovely warm Teak wood with gorgeous color and patina. The cabinet has simple design features such as the shaped legs, tiny lock and key, and drop-down door fitted with pigeon holes. The bottom of the cabinet hosts a cupboard with sliding doors with elegant brass handles.
A great small Mad Men-style bureau desk to suit most living rooms or a study.
The cabinet is in good solid vintage condition, with some surface signs of age including some circular marks on the top surface. please see the video and photos for all details.
