"Semainier” refers to a French piece of furniture with seven drawers (Fr. Semaine = week). It is part of the Louise Collection designed by renowned designer Paul Mathieu. A remarkable piece in which each of the exterior faces is entirely sculpted out of a solid piece of wood by hand, then covered with metal sheeting. The available options for metal cladding are brass, white bronze, antiqued bronze, silver and copper. Both silver and copper will tarnish over time.
