18th Century German Pine Baroque Secretary

About the Item

German provincial baroque secretary à deux corps from around 1750. Solid made in pine wood. Consisting of a three drawer commode lower part with S-shaped curved front and slightly protruding profiled top plate. On top of it the double-door upper part with sloping flap and curved profiled cornice. Both doors are made of frame construction with different panels. Behind the writing flap are 4 small drawers, plus 2 more drawers and a total of 9 shelves behind the doors above. New brass fittings mounted. Dimensions: 192 cm high / 75.59 inch high, 109 cm wide / 42.91 inch wide, 57 cm deep / 22.44 inch deep.
