19th Century Louis XV Style French Marquetry and Bronze Ladies Secretaire Chest

About the Item

"Secrétaire à abattant" - a so called ladies secretaire from the time around 1870-1890 in the style of Louis XV. Fruitwooad and nutwood as well as precious woods in beautiful marquetry, gilded bronze applications, inside with black leather pad, on top with marble top. In very good restored with shellac hand polished condition.
