Antique American Federal Flame Mahogany Secretary Writing Desk Gothic Bookcase
About the Item
A fine and impressive antique early 19th century Federal Period flame Mahogany secretary and bookcase. The bookcase features an eighteen pane Gothic arched cabinet front that opens to a beautiful blue painted interior with three shelves, and three drawers. A flip top opens to a baize writing surface. Base includes two over two drawers supported by carved pineapple columns and turned legs. Drawer pulls feature a round brass Federal star theme knob.
