Antique Traditional Secretary Wood Desk with Shelf The secretary desk with shelf originates from France. The wood desk has a warm, worn black finish with drawers on the front and back and a display shelf on top. The front drawers have brass pendant pulls and the back three drawers have brass ring pulls. The patina and wear on the desk show that it has been a useful and cared-for piece of furniture. When opened, the hinged top rests against the shelf. Inside the desk is a generous amount of storage along with cubbies in the back. The Secretary Desk is a beautiful example of function meeting form.
