About the Item
Swedish antique Biedermeier writing desk chiffonier secrétaire cabinet in highly quilted golden birch veneers and finished in the Classic light honey color French polish.
It has 2 main drawers, 4 small upper drawers, one small central cupboard with hidden storage and ormolu style decoration with white knobs on the small drawers.
The chest pf drawers desk has a wealth of carved detailing on the base with brass ring pulls and provides both excellent storage and a writing desk with the drop down front lid.
The back is plain wood and the chiffonier will be re-polished by our specialist polisher prior to shipping. We aim to leave some of the 'life' that the piece has acquired when re-polishing as otherwise it loses its personality. The item will be ready to ship approximate 2 weeks after purchase following the re-polish.

- Condition:Repaired: may have been repaired at some point in its life. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading. The chiffonier will be repolished prior to shipping - please note the locks are not in working order. There are some faint ink spillage marks in the back of some of the drawers as is common with these pieces but we can sand these out if you request.
