Louis XV secretaire, France, 1770. Beautiful walnut veneer with plum, satinwood and kingwood marquetry. Exquisite figural marquetry on the outside of the writing top. The writing surface is covered with leather (replaced). The inside of the writing top has six drawers and a central compartment. The secretaire has its original brass fittings and is in very good condition. It has been carefully refinished and French polished to Revive the superb color of the different wood grains. It ships from Germany and includes shipping costs to Boston.
