NVIN0518 Vintage Mahogany Secretary Desk
About the Item
A Vintage Mahogany Secretary Desk brought to you by Niagara Furniture. This desk is impressive in both it’s design and scale. Made of beautifully grained mahogany and mahogany veneers, the bookcase top features a removable finial as well as fixed shelves in the interior of the cabinet. The top section consists of finely shaped glass doors with inset lattice work and the top itself can be completely removed by taking out five screws. All of the larger serpentine drawers are dovetailed and feature the same high quality construction throughout. The slant top of the desk drops down to reveal a fitted interior enhanced with numerous small drawers and pull out slides. The Vintage Large Mahogany Secretary Desk rests on solid mahogany ball and claw feet .
As with all antique and used pieces of furniture there will be some small signs of wear and tear but overall this item is in good original condition.
