Oak Drop-Front Secretary with Inlaid Parquetry in the Manner of Kjaernulf

About the Item

A beautifully detailed Danish secretary desk in solid oak in the manner of Henning Kjaernulf, circa 1960s. This heirloom-quality piece features a serpentine front with three generous drawers, each constructed with traditional dovetail joinery and adorned with ornate brass pulls and functioning locks. The parquetry inlaid drop-front reveals a fitted interior of petite drawers and cubbies—perfect for stationery, keepsakes, or a discreet laptop station. Elegant paneled detailing and a warm, natural finish highlight the wood’s character and craftsmanship. The desk height, when open, measures 28.5"H.
