Rare Near Pair of Regency Bookcases

About the Item

A rare near pair of English Regency period secretary or bookcases with rosewood, ebony, mahogany and satinwood inlay. The fitted drawers in the fall front are slightly different in color as is the leather inside. The number of rings turned in the interior drawer pulls also differs and there is also one more ridge in the moulding that meets the upper section with the lower. Beautiful workmanship and patina.
