About the Item

Danish Modern Long Teak Sideboard by Hundevad & Co, 1960s. Danish Mid-Century Modern long and low sideboard designed by Carlo Jensen for Hundevad & Co in Denmark. Four separate cabinet compartments with hinged doors. Three drawers and seven shelves, all are height adjustable. Doors with lock and brass hinges. The inside is lined with light lacquered beech. Standing on five round tapered legs with flared top in solid dark teak. Very strong and stable construction makes this lowboard suitable for displaying heavy objects or TV/hifi elements. A clean and minimalistic Scandinavian look. Very good quality and impressive craftsmanship as always from Hundevad & Co. The length is an impressive 216 cm / 7'1''. Two keys included. Marked " Danish Furnituremakers Control" Very good original vintage condition. Few dings and scratches. Light color difference on the top, please see photo. All surfaces has been cleaned and polished. Ready for use.
